The Blue Caves are one of the island's most popular and advertised attractions; you can visit them by boat or on one of the many organized tours. The Blue Caves are made up of specific geologic formations that give rise to a series of caves along the island's northwestern coast, beginning near Agios Nikolaos and ending near Skinari Cape.
